Types of Lingerie

These can be in the form of bras, slips, nightdresses, thongs, corsets, thong and slip sets, as well as garters. You must be sure that when you choose an item of lingerie that it suits your body type, it is comfortable, it fits properly, and that you love it.

The bras and corsets in lingerie are probably the item that people think of first. There are so many different types and styles to choose from. You can get sheer lace with under wire that clasp at the back or front. It can be adorned with bows, ribbons, or other details, and can come in any color like black, white, red, purple, pink, blue, and even patterns. A popular one is the French Boudoir inspired style of having pink with black stripes and frills. Other bras can be padded for extra size or cleavage. These can be made from silky satin as well as shimmer materials.

The next popular type is the lingerie set with a thong made with thin strips and completely lace or evocative satin, and adorned with bows, heart ornaments, and diamante dangles at the back. The top slip is usually made from sheer chiffon, which is crossed over, or straight and can have the bodice covered with brocade material, satin, or be sheer as well. These can be decorated with ribbon, fur, satin bows, and also come in any color.

The other type of lingerie which is more for the conventional type of woman, but still extremely sexy, are the full length or knee length slips. These can be made from satin or silk in any color, and have a long slit up the side or back. You can wear it with heels to give it an extra energy. The top of it can be decorated with delicate fur, or the straps can be the accent feature, having three straps made of thin ribbon. You can also wear slips with sheer parts to give a hint of seduction, but not too much.
